Nayab Saiyed founded Laniakea on a simple belief: the best consulting comes from people who have actually operated production systems at scale — not from generalists reading vendor documentation.

As Founder & Principal Consultant, Nayab brings 20+ years of database and cloud experience. His work spans Oracle, DB2 LUW, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, AWS, database release management, performance tuning, migration, and DevOps infrastructure automation.

Nayab leads discovery, architecture, and technical quality. Laniakea also has an engineering team, with implementation roles matched to each engagement. Before work begins, we agree the scope, named delivery owners, availability, and acceptance checks with you.

For a defined cloud or DevOps project, we can scope implementation directly. When the problem needs investigation first, a focused diagnostic can establish the next step.

The name comes from the Laniakea Supercluster — our cosmic neighborhood containing over 100,000 galaxies. We chose it because great infrastructure, like the cosmos, operates at a scale that makes the impossible feel routine.
